farming is not just planting crops. crops are bred and hybridized, to create storng genetic traits, or to combine traits. humans have been doing this since the dawn of agriculture, and it is NO BIG DEAL

you know what else is genetically modifying things? sex. any and all sex. whether between plants, or animals.
