i found it funny how people didn't seem to mind that it wasn't the actual author and artist signing and drawing in their copy of the book. some were a bit confused, saying things like 'i thought you were male!', but when i said 'yeah but i'm just replacing him for a while' they seemed to be perfectly ok with that :P
if i went somewhere to get my graphic novel signed by the artist i'd like it to be the arist who does the drawing in my book...

I think they might have assumed that by "replacing him for a while" they took it as replacing him as a guest artist of the comic.
