the school came to him. 18 of them flew to DC for the event. this was scheduled months in advance.

again, the reason he's not attending is not the economy, war or disaster (these I would understand). he's getting an honorary degree from the university of arizona. if it were me, I'd tell the UofA, thank you, but I've already made plans. it's not me though. it's just another Smile E. Gladhands.
