If it makes you guys feel any better about your GPA's, I was an AP student, scored very high on the ACT, and I make less money than my friend who dropped out of high school but is good with computers.
I am not remotely well-off.
I do agree with truncated about the GED thing though.
Golden Child: see if your high school allows you to take college classes on a college campus for simultaneous high school and college credit. My school offered that, but didn't really let anyone know. Had I known about that, I would have had 2 years of college under my belt by the time I was 17, and I would not have had to deal with the ridiculous high school enviroment (aka My Own Personal Hell) for two unneccessary years. This is a far better route if it's available to you. Check into it.
