i was at a show in salt lake city this summer, in a glorified shed with an amazing sound system, and i saw this guy across the room who was douglas coupland's twin. i had this internal fight with myself over whether or not i should tell him he looked like coupland, then for some reason half-convinced myself that that was coupland and that he's probably perplexed because i'm staring at him because he's douglas coupland. this makes NO sense to you, probably, but it was a weird ten minutes of my life.
