8/10 times yes. it depends on the area they come from. cali accents absolutely kill me. I've worked in retail for five years and I dont think there has been an american male who has come into any of my stores with a californian accent whom I havent given a discount to or given them free stuff.
conversation usually goes;
'yr from the south west coast arent you'
'yeah ha ha'
'thats awesome.. so... what are you doing here? (I usually dont care, I just want them to keep talking, which isnt hard to get an american guy to do)'
'blahblahblablja'
