so Chout man, how didn't you like the CH1? My buddy Matt has the Small clone and it sounds GLORIOUS, fucking SWEET to say the least. So i thoguht - Dammit I don't wanna sound like him. And I got me a used CH1.
Every pedal you see here was bought for real cheap BTW.
The coolest ones being the DSD2 and the DF2 of course!!! I'm proud of those Japanese fuckers!!!
OH and Chout, I'd suggest you to take the power supplies far away from the pedals... they usually generate unwanted hum that close.... just a humble suggestion from a gyu who is about to end up sound school (YAY!) |
Nice setup Max. I really like that you have an earplug holder built in! Good idea. I may do that.
As for the Boss CH1, It just wasn't 'deep' sounding enough for me. I think something was wrong with it. The Small Clone sounds better with my Rat than that one did. We cover a Husker Du song sometimes and I can sound pretty close to Mould's tone.
Good luck in sound school! What will that be like? Recording techniques and stuff?
