My oldest friend I met in 1985. He's still one of my best friends, but we see each other 3 or 4 times a year, and he doesn't live that far from my place.
Same goes for my former neighbour, who's been 400 kms away since 2004; we get to see each other 6 to 8 times a year when we'd meet every week before his move. And it makes no difference.
Same goes for a former colleague of mine.
This to say that I read more about you than from other nice people I regularly meet.
So yes, I consider some members here as friends, _ovals_
