Metre! Rhyming scheme!

The problem with lyrics is they nearly always look shit written down. No offence to anyone here - and I'd post my own lyrics if I didn't know this to be true - but lyrics nearly always look shit written down.

The above has a rhyming scheme and thus works as poetry; it also doesn't quite rhyme, but does scan, so is oral poetry, which is only a few feet away from decent lyrics. This last sentence in no way validates Bob Dylan, who was always shit.
