i've cut my own hair since i was like 16 and i haven't had any major fuck ups.
once, i wanted something weird so i cut my hair short for the spiky look, but kinda shaved one side of my head underneat the top hair, just for kicks...i looked like baron ashura from mazinger z (or two face from batman) but my other half was vanilla ice.
