It's just tedious when you get some person going: ''I don't believe in God! He doesn't exist! He sucks!''. What the fuck does that mean?

cmon porks, do you think we all memorized your responses from some ancient thread?

explain yourself.

i'll tell you why i don't believe in "god"-- because "he" cannot be proven and i have little faith in that which cannot be verified.

as for my own religious instincts, i do have my superstitions and rituals, and i do fine with them.

beyond those trivial responses to the uncertainty of life, i also have considered the possibility that there may be such creatures in the universe that may seem as deities to us, and also the possibility of true god or gods, but i disagree with the inherent cyclopean machismo of the judeochristianislamic tradition.

"god the father" & all that crock-- pardon me-- if there is a "higher being", our conception of it is worse than idolatry, and i'd rather worship a rabbit's foot. this antrophomorphized version of "god" with its attending character defects is old time relijun.

in that sense im an agnostic. i refuse to believe things in either direction.

sorry, no intention to offend the easily offended, just an attempt to explain myself.
