I met someone recently who told me that 100 years from now, recorded music will be obsolete. Instead, you will connect your brain to a machine that instantly injects a completely new song into your brain that exactly fits your mood at that moment. You won't even have to waste four or five minutes listening to it. The effect will be immediate. Sonic Youth will break up when that happens.
