One of my friends is named Xavier. I think it's really neat, but again, I'm not the biggest fan of hard sounds.
I was originally going to be named "Christopher-Robin" from winnie the pooh. Then it was going to be Christopher (thank god it wasn't), and now it's just Robin. But I live in a French city so everybody pronounces it like (rolling R) robaainne. And it's annoying becuase I get "Robin Hood" or batman references ALL THE TIME. Just today, the cashier at Societie d'alcohol de Quebec said "hehe, est-ce que tu Robin Hood?". So I just prefer Rob.
