i wish i could say that i agree. if i'm smoking in public (ie in a restaurant) IN the smoking section and someone is giving me a dirty look or something, i won't put it out. they can kiss my ass if they don't like it. however, if i am a guest in someone's house and they ask me not to smoke inside, that's fine. i'll go outside. i generally don't think that's too disagreeable.
