We're visiting mom-in-law in Denver. Man, I wish we lived here. Twist & Shout is such an awesome record store--they have two huge stores, across the street from one another, one devoted to CD, the other entirely to vinyl. I thought I'd died and gone to heaven. I'm on an extended vinyl high. Sure, I blew my wad, but oh am I glad I did.

The real prize: PiL - Metal Box, reissue on 4Men with Beards. The most beautiful record package/cover art in the universe ever.

Runner up: Dwarves - The Dwarves Must Die on white vinyl

T. Rex - Electric Warrior - Rhino 180gm reissue

Used reissue of Bowie's Ziggy Stardust

New reissue of Love - Forever Changes

New reissue of Introducing the Sonics

Too bad dear mother does not have a record player. But I have the GREATEST mother-in-law in the world--she not only drove me from the burbs into the heart of Denver, since I don't know my way around, but she also patiently waited more than an hour-and-a-half in the loud record store for me to rifle through all the bins.
