I don't know if I was saying that exactly but I do think the Corbynistas are putting principle over pragmatism. But in fairness, they'd point to 2015 as evidence that a Corbyn victory isn't entirely out of the question. But in terms of a party going that far down a quite extreme position, knowing it may well make them less viable in an election, I can't think of another occasion, either. Although I think the Dems in the US could well go down that route in a few years if the likes of AOC and Ilhan Omar are able to really define the direction that party goes.
