My God, really? It was a few years ago now. I used to be on a Yahoo group for them, I was genuinely very sad for a while. ATR were probably the most important group for the teenage me. They're as important to me, personally, as when people talk about the 'revolution' of punk or Public Enemy or the Velvets. Saved me from being a miserable, self-indulgent wanker as a teenager and started my interest in politics and non-apathy. I went very actively heavy left from a fairly young age because of them. I've recinded on the politics, but I maintain their importance, in spite of the possible hipocrisy.

He died of an overdose of prescription drugs I believe. Crack's Black Ark, if you don't have it, is an oft-neglected masterpiece.
