1- An analogy: If I called the cops on my neighbors for no reason every now and then, after a while the other neighbors might be wondering what's up with these people, might see them as untrustworthy, even though no offense has actually been committed.
2- Some people honestly and fundamentally disagree with her politics.
3- She's the one who first approached Bill for a date. A lot of men and too many women are threatened by this sort of behavior, this deviation from standard practice. The "Bitch don't know how to stay in her place" crowd, or the "In my day" people..
