Believe it or not, LA is perhaps the most polite, civil, and genuinely nice city in the country. People actually say hello to each other and exchange niceties with sincerity. I know, its hard to believe, but TMZ does NOT reflect actual life in Los Angeles. At the corner store, at the coffee shop, at your job, at the mall, hiking in the hills, strolling the beach, generally people in LA are quite nice. We also drive CONSIDERABLY better than anywhere else in the world, and I am well traveled enough to have seen this first hand
By the way, I should clarify the pregnant woman accident this morning was not police related, just an example of a fatality related traffic accident with pedestrians that resulted in no charges filed.
