DC and Baltimore seem nice to hang out in, But i can't see myself living around there, i like lower Montgomery co much more like Bethesda. Chevy Chase, or Silver Spring
the beach is nice but most of the area is not set up for year round living (IE Ocean City, MD, Fenwick Is., DE, inland Delaware) but Rehobeth Beach, DE is set up for year round
