also it seems like all businesses in the united states are named after places in mexico with no english on signs, and all of them in mexico are named after places in the usa with english all over the place, really hard to get a good score

thought i saw my grandmas house and it was brasil, thought i saw vancouver and it was china

haha, that is alot of fun! my first two guesses weren't even on the right continent but the others were within close proximity to the actual location.

Is it wrong to cheat?

How do you cheat? I look around...but not change location....(language n stuff are very helpful!)

i think going for billboards and language is fair game, looking on what side of the road the cars drive is fair game, but googling is cheating.

i've been getting an average 2K points on each, or about 1,000 km.

the farthest i've been is when i confused some part of brazil with southern mexico. the closest i've been i think is 391km in poland (i saw a word too long to be czech and guessed poland)

what other hints: shape of trees & vegetation is #1 i think.

ps- fooled by south africa's first appearance but got the latitude spot-on in the last one. fuck!

that happened to me with south africa and australia but the opposite way, perfect latitude but far away

If I had went with my gut I would have gotten them all as I was surprised at just how spot on a lot of my initial guesses were.. I was at least correct about the country for all of them except Spain, and I KNEW it was fucking Spain and I went with the Caribbean instead..
