Fugazi are a little tight-assed for my taste, but I'm sorry, I will not give up my love of the Misfits. The real Misfits, that is.

Like both, take the Misfits over fugazi these days. I haven't even heard any Post-Danzig songs, and don't care to.

I have some good friends who are Misfits/ Danzig/ Fugazi fans. Secretly, I often wank in their hair while they're asleep.

I also ring up their bosses and tell them they are paedophiles.

I'm more partial to Fugazi than the Misfits. Their stuff just speaks to me more.

Well, indirectly I think I may always be making fun of you, but I think in this case my primary target was Fugazi.
Even though I love the Misfits, I think they are actually even easier to make fun of than Fugazi.

Fugazi rules. Yeah, they're tight-assed, I guess. Ian McKaye should really lighten up, and I hope by now he at least has a brew now and then. But their albums are sweet stuff.

I remember a Misfits fan having a screaming argument with me about whether Throbbing Gristle or Cannibal Corpse were the first Industrial band. In all seriousness. I've never met a more intelligent Misfits fan since.

Edit: Obviously, I was on the TG side of the argument, before some smartarse chips in.

Misfits are more of a gimick and image than anything really worth listening to. Other musicians who do covers of Misfits songs actually do justice to the songs more so than the Misfits actually do. The Papa M acoustic cover of last Carress, and Refused cover of Bullet, are cool. I also think it's lame they have Misfits shoes etc out that are sold at major 'teen' stores. They lose points with me big time for that.

I think I'll get a Misfits T-shirt and write on it "...aren't as good as Fugazi."
