Ok, so there's this girl I used to hang out with and got kind of close to, and at one point in the past I told her point blank, I wanted to screw her. She said she was flattered I felt that way, but thought she too many problems for me to get involved with her that close. Later on, we started making out but things didn't go as far as I wanted them to. We didn't talk for a while afterward, but then she texted me saying she was out of line and apologized, saying we're supposed to just be friends. I told her she shouldn't apologize, and that I actually enjoyed it. So then she asked me why I don't find myself a girlfriend...

...I was stunned. I thought she was my girlfriend?!

Things got stressful at work, and she started snapping at me. We did hang out again, but I wanted to talk about each other and we ended up spending the whole evening complaining about our jobs. I knew then whatever spark there ever was between us was gone.

About a month or so later, I started dating a girl whom I was (and still am) head over heels about. Things started off well, but her problems overtook her (more details here)...the other girl and her had sort of become friends before we started going out, and she (the first girl) was showing signs of jealousy. She knows things are currently at a standstill, and the other night she was doing weird things like asking me to feel her bra and such, and later that evening I get a text from her saying she wants to have sex with me.

Once again, I was stunned. I told her my body wanted to but my heart said it's out of the question (yeah, I know now I shouldn't have said that), and my heart's boss. Of course she tried to say the other girl doesn't care about me anymore and I should just give up on her. I told her enough people had given up on her already, and she didn't need me to next. I also said that I believe deep down inside, the other girl still loves me. She then started emotionally beating herself up, and I tried to talk her up...she was grateful, and I think I've diffused the bomb for now.

Wow. Never thought I'd be in a situation like this. Sorry to lay this on you guys, but I haven't gone out much of late and felt I had to tell SOMEONE about this. That, and I guess I was wondering if any of you had any similar experiences?

Well you did the right thing brutha. Why should she get sex if she initially didn't want it? And now you're in a relationship, and just because she does want it, is it right for you to fill her demand (or her hole) now?

IMO don't tell girl #1 to fuck off, or let yo' pants open. Just keep on good terms and be supportive of her helping herself through her problems and you may benefit from it in the future.
