Such cameras actually exist or are being developed. I took part in a trial where I wore such a thing around my neck for 10 days. It was webcam-ish quality although it took about 3000 pictures a day. You could play it back at the end of the day and see your day unravel in sort of stop motion style.

Despite the considerations, the trips are pretty awesome.
