i'll be there too. second time.
you guys going to the ween show? |
is it full of mosquitoes?
|
Not enough money nor will power.
The line-up, besides, is less than alluring. |
the bugs aren't too terrible, but it all depends on the weather.
last time i went we went real simple. this time i'm going to be comfortable |
bands i plan on seeing:
tortoise kings of leon lily allen or black keys tool aesop rock superjam sts9 old crow medicine show regina spektor ziggy marley ween police flaming lips galactic wolfmother martha wainwright ornette coleman white stripes |
with that lineup, it's hardly worth going.
|
cool

take the black keys over lily allen. saw her at sxsw and it was horrible. she whined the whole time about how she hated nme for setting the gig up. |
hippies.
|
couldnt make it cause i got arrested
weeee! |
bummer. the crowd was pretty mellow this year compared to the last time i went. didn't see as much music as i wanted to, but it's pretty much impossible to do everything.
tool was good for about an hour but then they started to sound the same with every song, the police sucked, widespread panic always has and always will suck. ween was mindblowing, frightening, and hilarious all at the same time. regina spektor was goofy. girl talk was intense and galactic was good. ornette coleman collapsed on stage from heatstroke. hippies. |
