I don't know. I like bits of every music. Probably pop music. That or house music. I don't like either of them.

I feel the same way, Hayden. They all have something to offer. But I would probably say country music because there really isn't anything that I like that is country.

Country and western is probably the only genre fom which I've never felt the disire to make a purchase.

I like a few things that are country-ish. i.e. Cat Power, Neko Case, early Bright Eyes, etc.

Country is great. I like the more hillbilly-leaning side of it though.

I can't stand eurodance shit. It's all they play on the radio over here. That, and this new fake 'RnB' which is nor rhythm or blues. And of course, the sickening murder of rap thats been going on since the early 90s.

about 90% of rap sucks for me. especially popular. and about 08% of popular music right now, as generic as i may or may not sound, it sucks.

and...well.. i guess house music.
meaning "boom ch bah ch boom ch bah ch" beat for every single song. that shit blows hard.

i will willingly embrace the fact that my arguments consist mainly of "suck" or "blow". but i have indeed listened to the very things i hate. how else would i know i hate them. if you wish me to state instances, ill do that. shall i go on?

When people categorically reject genres, it's normally either an issue of age or due to not having listened to enough music.

We got that and i don't think that it is abnormal not to like certain types of music.It's only when all you have to say in the matter is 'It sucks!'.Well,why?

ok, well. i listened to The KLF's America: What Time Is Love? EP/single one time driving up to a 5-day hike. and it was basically on of the most atrocious things i thought i would ever hear. it remains that way in my opinion.
last year i was exposed to someone who im not sure who they were, but it was some mid to late 90's house music, and i could not tell one song apart fromt he song that followed. maybe it was a concept album, and the concept was to be as bad as possible. hears the get-up: one beat, repeated the entire cd. maybe a few blips here and there, and everything bad about radio pop in the ninetie's.
i have had to sit through many a class in school listening to pop r rock radio, and absolutely detesting what my ears have heard, especially the "rap" side of things.

Specifically, I hate listening to band's demos on myspazz, and I really should stop expecting one of the random bands I find on there to be good, because they really aren't.
