Damn, that's colder than a well digger's ass in the Klondike.

It only causes blank posts in threads, which makes it harder to follow them. Plus I don't need any software to help me ignore people, I can do it on my own.
A "send someone to punch the user in the face" -feature would be more useful.

can't say i hate anyone... but i did try it out for a couple of days (on haydenasche i think, because he was posting like 150 times a day for a while) but it only works when you're logged in and i'd rather decide for myself on what to read and what to skim through or skip completely.

But jokes aside, I wouldn't be able to follow threads. Someone on my ignore list would say something, and then someone respectable would say, "Haha! Ya, that's funny." And no matter how much I didn't want to read what that person said, at the same time I would want very badly to read what that person said.

And besides, I don't get easily angered on message boards. If someone feels the need to be rude or intolerant on the internet, I feel I've already won.

Ignore lists are for people who may be weak-minded and may not be able to trust themselves that they have the power to "let things go" or to ignore certain things from certain people. The same people probably would put a "V-CHIP" in their TV so they wouldn't have to be real parents.

I have nobody on my ignore list. I give everyone a fair chance, regardless if I never get along with them or not. Communication is always the best way to solve problems, not running away from them.
