i was messing about with my old team inn the old league we had going so i decided to pick a new one and start early for next season..

"luck" would be the correct term for this, as I know way too little about premier league teams/players to build a decent team...hmmm, how much time do I have to play hundreds of premier league games on pes2008 and learn which players I like the most?

Right, but FIFA is more realistic than PES, Not only with the teams and the names, but the game in and of itself.

The Premier League is a long run.

Maybe those fearing the involvment being too much might put their names here and say they're looking for a co-manager who would be willing to take over if they ever drop the game? In real life, managers are sacked regularly. There's a wild card that allows to start with a whole different team once in the season. That could be used if a Man U. fan picks a City team.

This could work if some posters offer to be bench managers.

No idea if it could really work though.

Ah, I'm pretty sure I can't keep this up for a whole season.
Last year I skipped about a month around October and then stopped altogether from January or so onwards. Playing 38 rounds is just really a lot if you're not following the Premier League closely... which I don't. These days I don't even follow the Dutch league closely anymore, let alone other leagues.

Might still join this thing, but dunno... I think a Champions League fantasy game would suit me better.

Besides, we all know Bertrand is going to win it...

I'd say 10, at least...

as many as we can. more competition equals more fun. it is an addictive way to augment your seasons veiwing.. we had over 15 or 20 last season... where ye all gone to?????

I'm keeping him because I dumped him the first time he went out last season and I had to reshuffle my whole team (read: drop 2 good players, pick up 3 horrible ones) to get him back.

I hope Ronaldo will be injured as much as his bresilian namesake.

Ive put him in my team, bit of a gamble but i think it MIGHT pay off, especially now Keanes gone to Liverpool. That also means Torres will probably score a shitload this season as well.

I wouldn't do that and get him later.

Consider this : 10% of the coaches have him (that is 42410 persons).
Now some of them will realize he doesn't bring any point to their teams, and, in a silly panic move, dump him. When many coaches dump someone, this someone's price quickly drops. From €14.0 to 13.9 or 13.8.
Now, if you dump him right now for someone else, and make sure you have enough on your bank account (with an extra margin) to bring him in later, you might acquire him for cheaper and score points through the fellow who'll leave Ronaldo his place in due time.

Well, that's my thought.

Have to check by August 16 how many teams have Ronaldo in their roster to validate the whole caboodle.
