It's a perfectly clear night for it where I am.

I was watching a bit of it, but nothing really seemed to be happening. I guess it is cold outside and I'm impatient.

It's technically a lunar eclipse though:p

I know the moon is all shadowy. But over 15 minutes it didn't really seem to change too much.

its lunar eclipse here in los angeles, though equally impressive and metaphysically important, as the moon defines most religions, where as the sun is often symbolic.

i went and looked at the sun for second now i have a head ache

yep, saw the moon, beautiful.

My ears are burning and my feet and hands are numb from the cold, but all in all, a most excellent way to spend 50 minutes. I love looking at the moon anyway, and this just makes it all the more exciting.

Once I make all that money, I'm going to build a big ass Imax theatre type room and I'm going to have one of those star projectors like the ones in a planetarium.....it's going to be fucking awesome. You guys can all come over and party in there with me if you want.

I went to see a showing of a "Prehistoric Creatures of the Deep" at the Science Center (it's more of a children's world of discovery, FUN, and education). They were charging about $30 for cover charge, and you couldn't pay to see the film on it's own.

Anyway, it used to be simply a "planetarium", but rarely do they show the solar connections anymore. Now, it's mainly just educational films.
