The Grateful Dead fans I was exposed to on the five occasions that I saw them Dead in 1988-89 managed to completely cure me of the desire to ever attend another one of those shows.

I've never actually met one, but something tells me that the average Murphy's Law fan is a total cretin. I saw the band being interviewed on TV and just thought, anyone who likes THESE guys is quite simply not worth knowing.
