It says the album is going to be produced by Steve Albini. Jack White will just be producing a few songs.

According to this article, anyway.. (which has been reprinted word-for-word by various news sources in the past few days.) Last year an article in Rolling Stone claimed Rick Rubin was going to produce it...

Yeah he lives down there now. Right on the beach. Apparently that's all he does when he's not out on tour or recording, just lounges around on the beach and swims in the sea. (I can see why he's thinking of retiring next year...)

In the lastest "MeanStreet" magazine thier's a short interview with Exene, and in the prolouge to the interview it states, 'Cervenka tells us that she's writing a new X album with John Doe', so I guess there is going to be another X album, in the future.
