Book Character Dilemma
 

My daughter has to go to school on Friday dressed as a character from a book.

But which one?

She decided on Baba Yaga (relatively easy: basically just a witch, lack of teeth a bonus) but isn't sure now.

Suggestions?

Obviously I will pay no heed to anything you say because I'm not stupid and have six years of parenting experience to fall back on but it would be interesting to hear the stupid things some of you will inevitably say.

i would be the easiest, as long is she has no major deformities. Obviously, if she does, you might want to go with something else, like T or O. Maybe you could post a picture and we can vote?

Looking at her there, I'd probably go with Q? honestly..

rather than a book character, how about an author? I dunno, Ian McEwan maybe or, if she can handle the accent, Milan Kundera.

i saw her pic before you edited it and i just want to say that is an awesome coat and i want that coat only bigger so i can wear it.

As soon as she grows out of it, it's yours.

i would have to get into some whole new genre of anorexia to be able to fit into it. and that might suck a bit cos you get to the whole insane and your bodys eatin itself and you smear shit on the walls and starve to death phase. but if i can't find one my size then i guess i'll just have to man up.

isn't the kid not supposed to eat it because it contains leftover protein and stuff? that's what i did anyway.

Not a book character I know but she is really loving Ancient Egypt since visiting the British Museum.

I have dibs on the letter X but I'm willing to sell it to another syg poster for cheap.

Or the room after room of spoons museum, as it should be known.

Why would Baba Yaga take her hut to school? Think man think!

I wanted her to go as Baba Yaga because she's just a witch (easy) who rides around on a pestle and mortar - bit of papier mache and Bob's your uncle.
