One of my recent photographs was featured on a website's Editor's Choice showcase. It was picked by an Atlanta-based street and architecture photographer whose work I admire greatly. I feel quite honored. :D

Finally having a debut gig with the band project a friend and I have been cooking up for years tomorrow. I'm stoked.

I'm getting a new car next week. Call me shallow but I'm really excited about that.

I love my car too. Didn't own one for some years. In the previous job I was driving company cars, so I got rid of my own. Then I stopped the job, and couldn't afford (and it was corona time, so there as no place to go anyway). Then I needed a car again for the new job, and saw one of these at the
local car dealership, with a nice low mileage:






Now that I moved, and live on a 3 minute bike-ride from work, I don't use the car that often. But I still love driving it.

Had that first gig with my band about a month ago and it was received very well.



Lost about 7 kilos (or 15 pounds if you wanna be all non-metric about it) through watching and adjusting my eating habits since the beginning of the year and feeling more comfortable with my frame again.

I finally got a job! I'm anxious about it because its a new environment with new people, in a department I have no experience in. My coworkers seem nice when I met them during orientation so i"m hoping it stays that way!

Congrats! Hey, no worries. Keep in mind, you're there to get the experience you need. There's almost always a period of easing someone in. You'll do fine, I'm sure. Having a good work climate is incredibly important. Great to hear your coworkers seem nice. All the best to you!

Just an update about how the new job is going, and it's going well! I like the people I work with and the work itself isn't bad (bakery at the grocery store). I pretty much just make cookies or get to try new stuff that we get. I'm sure I'll learn more, and I'm excited to learn more !

Yeah they do, the overnight people bake the bread for the next day, we just have to slice it a customer asks for it

After eighteen months with a terrible, dysfunctional laptop, I bought a new one on Wednesday and I'm out of my mind with how much better it is.
