i looooove cooking. it's relaxing. i get to focus, breathe, and invent. it often tastes pretty good!

yesterday i worked all day because we took off mid-week for the melt-banana show & had to make up for it.

so how is that drum camp? is it like a marching type drums, or dums as in you'll be like chris corsano some day?

i'm doing that actually-- i did that, then got hardcore & started a fast, then ate just fruits, then added raw vegetables. i used to have a stuffy nose & no more!

anyway cut wheat all the way. for a while i ate just quinoa & millet and it was great. quinoa is pretty good and easy to make. i was feeding synth some recipes the other day, for gluten-free grains & such.

i wonder how he's progressed...

drum camp is everyone on drumline/hoping to make drumline next year.

i really liked quinoa the one time my mom made it. i'm going to have her show me how to make it. send any recipes my way. this summer my goal's to get a bit more domestic so after next year i'm not stuck with dorm food and et cetera.

oh hm drumline... is that like the bands that play at stadiums? i didn't grow up here you see, so i tend to miss a lot of highschool culture references.

it's mostly vegetarian, all healthy stuff, and the best part is that she gives you an education-- i mean she really knows her ingredients & how they work & all that. which is the way to learn--- recipes alone are worthless, you gotta know your ingredients.

check out her recipe for steamed quinoa, steamed millet, and her article on grains, plus an article on 2-meal recipes (or something like that-- you cook a pot of grains & make 2 meals out of it, like, say, breakfast & lunch).
