if you ask me, i'd ask "reena". Incinerate is great too, but i don't feel the same thing when i'm listening it.
|
I have a new favorite, "Incinerate"
|
im getting it soon.
|
I like everything except sleepin around, or and do you believe in rapture. But I do hope those tracks grow on me though.

'pink steam' for obvious reasons |
Incinerate dum dum dum dum...
It's a pretty standard, kinda cheesy (those lyrics!) pop-lovesong so that's bound to be the kind of stuff that doesn't get a lot of hugs on an official fanforum, but at least it's very, very good at being poppy and cheesy. Love it. |

Haha, this thread is interesting to see now with the new less than overwhelmingly positive outlook on RR people have now. atsonicpark seems to have consistently hated it though, that's nice.
My favorites from it though are Jams Run Free and Turquoise Boy. |
It took me awhile to get into, but it has its moments. Jams Run Free, Do You Believe in Rapture?, Incinerate, and What a Waste most notably. People who say it's Sonic Youth's worst album definitely have their points though. Sleepin' Around may quite possibly be the worst Sonic Youth album

Mine are (favourites):

What a Waste!

"the neutral" and "helen lundberg"
