not sure if youve got ginko trees there but ginko trees smell like vomit just around this time of the year (in the northern hemisphere) when their fruits drop on the sidewalk and partially explode on the concrete. they stiiiiiiink!

Yah, it's really nasty. Baltimore in general is a pretty depressing city.

Baltimore sucks. I hated living there.

what i hate about baltimore is that inner harbor tourist trap

notyourfiend 09.15.2009 09:50 AM

^ In Baltimore, you see that everywhere expect for the major touristy/rich rich areas. The bad parts of town are just worse.

don't even get me started. this:

vs.

this

the architecture doesn't even look remotely similar

although one of the reasons i like bmore is that the gentrification here isn't NEARLY as awful as in new york city.

also, yeah, a cool thing here is that there is a lot of warehouse art

!@#$%! 09.15.2009 10:02 AM

i wish i could relocate

i need a month in nueva york-- no, in the east coast.

new york city fucking rules. willfully moving away from new york was one of the most difficult decisions i've ever had to make in my life. i would never have decided to move here if i were not for the fact that, while at college in the suburbs, i made so many amazing friends and fell in love with my gf of 3 1/2 years. i was not ready to leave all that so abruptly. however, i have every intention of moving back to new york city once i have more money in my bank account.

if you search craigslist hard enough, you can find some rooms for $600 per month in bushwick

!@#$%! 09.15.2009 10:16 AM

i fear craigslist. lots of scams.

notyourfiend 09.15.2009 10:18 AM

yeah, but it's worth it. the $600 per month rooms are a total steal.

the average rent for a decent sized room in an okay location is well over $1000

I once saw some chick sitting down on Hollywood Blvd, I was sitting shot-gun at a red light..
she was sitting across from this dude, they were both homeless youth, not quite scummy but definitely grungy, talking in the shade, when out of nowhere..

she dug into her pants and started scratching her snatch really enthusiastically like a dude scratches his nuts.. and that was not the worst part.. you all know what happens next..

she went for the whiff check and ran her fingers across her nose..

I literally broke out into hysterical laughter because of the look of the guy across from hers face..

I can only imagine how horrible those fingers smelled..
