yes, but they are still fucked up because I abuse them and I don't floss.. hence my dental insurance thread, which was started because I just bought this new insurance because I need my shit fixed desperately, like coat-hanger abortion in a seedy back alley desperate ;)

yeah. i got used to brushing my teeth insane amounts of times a day back when i had braces and i haven't stopped since.

i do it every morning but not at night always, i am just too tired.

I can't leave the house if I haven't brushed my teeth in the morning, it's the same thing as not washing your face. If I am running late I will carry a toothbrush and paste with me so I can do it later at work. I tend to brush at night more during the week because I am often not out till very late. Some days i'll brush 3 times, it depends. Some of you people are gross.

its true. i do when i have been out drinking and i also brush for ages after a night out as it seems to make me feel somewhat human. i heard that some massive % of bacteria dont actually live on your teeth but your gums and tongue instead.

I would think that drinking alcohol would do more for killing you mouth bacteria than anything else.

But feeling somewhat human is good, too. Most of the time.

I refuse makeout/sexytime before bed if someone has not brushed their teeth first. If the people you see during the day are worthy of non stinky then so am i.

My breath doesn't stink, and my teeth are fine. And there's a very simple way of checking if your breath stinks or not. All you have to do is exhale onto the palm of your hand.

i don't floss but i have these plastic toothpicks that work really well. some time ago i had a terrible toothache due to a chipped tooth which caused food to get stuck between them. that tooth has been fixed and using the toothpicks about twice a week works really well.
i get a lot of compliments on my teeth since they are straight and white. In belgium dentist checkups aren't very expensive and you get most of it paid back by the state anyway, same for most functional dental work (cavities and anything else that damages the health of your teeth and isn't just for aesthetic purposes: i had a retainer for a few years to correct the position of my jaw so i would be able to bite and chew better, most of this money was paid back)

That is awesome. I ran up my credit card getting fillings and cleanings. My teath are very high maintenance. I was bulemic in highschool and it ruined the enamel on my teeth. Dental care is very expensive here and even when you do have insurance it only covers around 25% of the procedure.
