Great word. The 100% I heard at the show reminded me of some Hip Hop. The beat did at least. It worls becuz T's lyrics are so unpredictable.... I know its a hit but one of the best songs of the show... |

I actually like the song better that way. Very spare. More emphasis on the beat. |
Well, sometimes it's good to be alone.
|
100% started going south in late '95. I wonder why. Maybe it's hard for Thurston to sing it over all of the noise, but that seems very unlikely -- that's based on the bootlegs I've listened to

lol! buuuuurn! |
I am very sad I did not get to attend this show, even though it would have been my 5th time seeing SY. The only way I could have gone was to drive to NYC on the 4th of July from Hartford at 6 am on no sleep, drinking 5 hour energy, wait till 9 to get tickets, and wait 5 more hours for the show to start.. I really didn't feel up to that. Then I turn on the live broadcast and they are playing Hey Joni. FUCK!

Hahahaha. The old guy in the Silver Rocket video is my new hero.

|
dammit when are we going to see an entire copy of that show?
|
This was a preposterously rocked-up show, almost nothing but crankers. Even when they fuck up, it's great. I am so pleased that these people exist and that they do what they do.
|
ok, finally i was able to track down a bootleg of the show, but lucky me doesnt have a pass to the dimeadozen torrents.
Can somebody with the priveledge download it and post it on here? |
Dude, skipvacuum posted the audio almost a month ago.

yeah! i also know he's always video taping their shows...i think he's preparing some "best sonic shows"...who knows?? Maybe someday we will see the results of his shooting. the set list is great...and thanks by the photos guys! |
There's an audience sourced version on ingram's direct download server, his archive thread in Sonic Sharing. It's complete and in lossless flac in a 16 bit and 24 bit version. FYI.

(new entry, TODAY) reginald: The setlist photo here shows what appears to be 3 encores. See the lines separating the songs ? It shows 7. Cross 8. Hey Joni 9. Jams ...on the server's order. |
