I love how everyone here slags the YYY's, but it was Sonic Youth (and Thurston in particular) who helped promote them and get them signed to interscope.
You would think that a band that is intimately related to the band everyone here is such a big fan of wouldn't be universally shunned for such a lame reason as being on a major label and/or selling a lot of records. I'm not a YYY's fan, but I have no idea why anyone would hate them. All the hate they receive here makes me want to actually be a fan, because I think most of you pseudo-tards are idiots. |

why do yeah yeah yeah fans can't accept the fact that maybe they are clinging to a shitty band who makes shitty music and just get by on critical acclaim and fashion? maybe they think that because they have devoted so much time and money to an empty fad and don't want to think they have wasted all that time and money, they try to defend them for never "selling out" and being the best band ever. i mean, nobody likes to be wrong.
