These are my sister's current pets Ali (Aleister Crowley) and Lala (Anton LaVey)

As you can see they are mangling an artificial christmas-tree that is pink!

Wowee Zowee your cat looks JUST like my Phillip.

And that's an older picture too, I really can't stress how much they look like. Same eyes, same fat and fluffy weight, same everything, he even lays in a basket the exact same. Hell, when browsing I even first thought that WAS my cat. Ha.

Man, I'm dreading the day my pug dies. He's my first real pet. He's about 5 years old so he's not too old. He's still energetic as fuck. But I'm wondering, all of you guys with pets that passed, what did you do?

deflinus 04.10.2009 02:24 PM

it sucked. it is depressing but like most things, it'll eventually pass

That's really early to start mourning. I only started my Su was 10 years old. That's when we started to notice she was no longer acting like a puppy--there were limits to her energy.

We put her down at 14. It was obvious when it was time--she just wasn't enjoying life anymore. I didn't cry at the time but when I got home--man, I probably cried for a half hour straight. She was an absolutely wonderful dog and we had many, many wonderful times together.

A few months later, I met Ava at the shelter and she is posted above.

Yeah it is early. But I just realized not long ago that he's going to die some some day. I'd never thought about it before since I 'd never had any pets before him. The good news is he's full of energy. He's got way more energy than any other pug I've seen.

i feel you, my cats are ten now, and i realise for how long they have been with us already. i've never kept a pet this long: my first two cats both died really soon (one was poisoned, the other one got run over). after this, the only pets i really owned were two goldfish, we occasionally had a stray cat or dog in the house when someone had found it, and kept it until we found the owner or a new home (i remember my dad bringing home a young bouvier)

ive also had another cat while i had these two already, but he died after a year or so, some genetic disease every kitty in the nest had... it was the first pet death i really remember and i was very sad about it, since it was such a young cat and he had been suffering so much..

i also wonder what will happen if one of my cats dies, they're brothers and have been together since the day they were born.

now for the actual subject:

Oh, man. How precious..truly.

You think you see everything til you notice Grey-man's tail slightly twirled around calico-man's hand.

ploesj 04.24.2009 01:23 AM

they make me kind of jealous, i'm running around and working all day, and when i come home i find them in the exact same position i left them in. damn.

phoenix 04.24.2009 05:45 AM

I get to see my kitty boy tomorrow :D (I shall post cuteness then)

terriblecanyons 07.23.2009 09:33 PM

They're both boys, but they're kinda gay. The alpha male is on the bottom. He regularly beats the shit out of the orange one.

Anngella 07.23.2009 09:35 PM

I want to rep everyone in this thread.

I've already posted way too many pictures of Trouble in other threads (he's my baby) so here's another one:

I'm afraid of the day when my oldest kitty dies. I've had him since I was six so pretty much as far as I can remember I've had him. He's been the best cat ever.

Satan 07.27.2009 02:08 AM
