Yeah, that movie left me feeling the same way, I fuckin' hated it. I know a lot of people who love that movie. To me it felt like being bashed over the head with a bat while someone screamed, "DON'T USE DRUGS!!!" at me over and over and over and over and over... Hated it. There are quite a few movies that i've found 'disturbing' but very few that have really scared me. I remember watching Gremlins when I was like 6 years old, and that shit terrified me.

When I was little (I'm not sure if my memory is correct about this) I remember watching Jaws. Not that I actually remember the experience of watching Jaws, just that I had watched it, nor do I remember being scared watching it. Anyway later on I woke up in the middle of the night properly hallucinating seeing a load of monsters in my bedroom. One of them was this giant sitting down and it started talking to me. Absolutely terrifying, very gradually the hallucination faded but it took fucking ages.
