I don't see the point of this article. If this woman really hates Sonic Youth, then why not just ignore them? It's not that hard! It's not like the band is everywhere you go! They are not played on 99% of major radio stations, they don't get play on MTV anymore, they're not in a lot of magazines, they don't appear on television very often and they don't show up at major awards shows. So what the fuck is this bitch complaining about?! Sonic Youth are hardly heavy hitters in popular music right now. If you ask most young people and older people alike, most of them will say they have never heard of Sonic Youth and the one's who have will most likely say that they have never heard their music. Sonic Youth is for a minority of rock fans. They are easy to ignore. This chick's just a whiney bitch with a bug up her ass the size of Finland.

Sonic youth have released more or less 20 records, and most of them are really great.....their albums can kind of get monotomous after years of listening to the saaaaaaaaammme songs tho....but i dont agree with the above bulshit

I also hate U2 and Good Charlotte and Pink Floyd and milions of other so called bands but I keep cool and don't get angry when there's no reason.

those aren't good reasons to rip on sonic youth, there are better reasons, most involving their press coverage and stereotyping, the rest involves their fans.

reads like fascist culture propaganda - like the shit CIA would pay to have planted in the 'left' press in the 50's and 60's. it just so carefully goes out of the way to be deprecating to odd little details that attempt to provide legitimation, but there is a template feel, like they did an analysis out of a box.
