Yup, paranoia fucked up my last relationship. Did that exact thing, let my paranoia create a problem that wasn't there.

max 11.17.2008 03:58 AM

well, paranoia, to quote Mrs. K. Bigelow, is just reality on a finer scale.
that said, things can get outta hand. the third weel suggestion makes sense. thing is, i know what it feels like when shit like that happens. i suffered something similar when my ex got together with a friend of hers, and in the end it showed up the ugly side of both of us.

try your best to stay calm and see what goes on.
wish you luck man...

floatingslowly 11.17.2008 09:42 AM

eh...the wife is glued to her phone. her best friend is a guy. whatever. that's not to say that I never get paranoid, but I'm not the kind of guy to tell her who to talk to.

I hope this helps.

kick his head in

girlgun 11.17.2008 02:53 PM

you know... girls and guys can be friends. i prefer guys. i have always preferred guys, but i always have to have a good girl friend. you'll push her away if she's not up to anything. i do find it weird she waits for you to leave to hang out with him, but maybe she just has nothing better to do?

i.e.... i was in a room full of dudes when i met floating. i was that way before... i'll always be that way. i'm not up to shit.

no. remember when brad called you some name?

max 11.17.2008 03:14 PM

this is starting to look like a sitcom, dudes and dudettes.

all i know is i had some troubles with my ex guitar player in an old band who was the one who introduced me to my ex girl. whenever this guy met her, my ex changed attitude real bad. without proper notice.

that ended up being the signal that not everything was really smooth within our relationship. turned out to be true.

i usually get along better with guys than with girls. i don't know why, i do behave pretty girly most of the time, but it's just like that. too bad those guy friends often fall in love with me.

max 11.17.2008 05:07 PM

uh uh.

no hard feelings, but that is the kind of girl i always despised with a passion.
have a nice day!

does it mean you despise the girl because the guys fall in love with her? you're sexist, then.

floatingslowly 11.17.2008 07:16 PM

Well, if you qualify as a dude, which is likely a matter of programming, and your friend is/was a dude, and his lesbian sister was of the butch persuasion, and the room was relatively small, then you can both be right!

I should be a relationship therapist.

am I? ok. if you say so, it must be true.

nah dude, actually, I just despise the way shit happens, and she goes out like that. "sadly everyone falls in love with me. oh, i'm a star".

cool.
not.

LittlePuppetBoy 11.21.2008 12:38 AM

Inhuman, I am sympathizing with you right now. I just lost a chance to get a job I was really looking forward to. :(

Why are you insinuating that just because a girl is aware of some guys falling head over heels for her it automatically means that they want the attention? That's sexist.
