I'd go with "Siamese Dream" by Smashing Pumpkins. That was the only truly great album they recorded.

X-Los Angeles I bought their Anthology, which has a lot of good non Los Angeles stuff on it, but I bought the "Los Angeles" album because the whole thing is awesome.
