the creative zen touch is really nice for about a year until the headphone jack goes

Ive had that happen but, it was always the headphones that messed up, never the cd player

i'd really, really like a zune. 30 gigs for around what i paid for 20 isn't bad.

I hate that im nearing the end of my ipods space (30 gig) and really wouldnt want to take any of the music off, very little of it i would want to part with. At least for ipod listening which basically functions as my stereo since i always lose the cds i actually buy

i'm out of space but i try to delete songs i'm just not into anymore to make room for new stuff every other week or so.

i wish i were brave.

i've been hanging out listening to death cab and the microphones. it's very relaxing.

The zen kills the Ipod. Badly. Better price, better video image quality (4 times better than the ipod I believe), and doesn't require specific software. I still use my sony discman though, it still kicks ass with it's ATRAC3 and MP3 playback

mine doesn't play videos or have a color screen :( but it's still a really good player with great sound and battery life.

That's good! Im just selling some stuff so I can buy a nice laptop, and I'm going to use that for music. I really don't need portibility with music. I usually don't run too much, and whenever I'm at the gym I figure I can just use my discman

since i lost my clip-on case and the jack is shot, i can't run with my music now.

i wish we could have them at gym practice for when i'm working on weights alone or just play better music on the stereo. the stuff we play (top 40 radio, old pop songs) just doesn't motivate or flow with what i'm working on.

You're not allowed them? That really sucks :(. At my school we have a $20,000 gym, and it's $45.00 for 3 months of working out, which is much better than a professional gym is. We're allowed music, but they also play terrible, TERRIBLE stuff on the loudspeakers. I have to keep my discman at max to drown out their music.
Im glad the other people in the gym don't talk to me, they think I'm too weird =). They're all blinded by sexual appeal and are completely lead by their penises/ vaginas.

well, gymnastics is kind of tricky with an mp3 player clipped onto what little clothing we have on (leotards and short shorts) and it'd probably get stolen. i guess you could if you're not doing flips and just hanging out like some girls choose to.

i talk to the ones who are a bit older (all 2 of them) but they're of a higher level so we don't hang out much.
