He's too boyishly good-looking. He looks like he'd be a post-coital cuddler, and would enjoy discussions of self-examination of the psyche and such. And you just know he's a flower-buyer. Pfffft.

Should I call CHOUT? I'm half asleep, and I've got fuck all to say. Oh, the dilemma.

I could ring his phone incessantly all hours of the night, though. It is free. I do love technological advancement in communications.

HaydenAsche 09.13.2006 01:54 AM

Call him. He carries a great conversation.

RIPfrey05 09.22.2006 09:14 PM

Wow, about 40 people tell me i am wrong and 2 people agree..thats gay.

Daycare Nation 09.22.2006 09:24 PM

they didn't like Rather Ripped either.

Pax Americana 09.22.2006 10:00 PM

This was a decent enough movie. Best movie ever? Not by a long shot. There are far better movies out there than Donnie Darko. Like I said, I liked it enough. What I didn't like about it was it's sort of faux intellectualism and all of the trendy douche bags who decided they were the reincarnation of Einstein because they saw a fucking movie.

Daycare Nation 09.22.2006 10:06 PM

it's not cool to like Donnie Darko too much

You see, m^a(t)h, if you weren't, in fact, green, then you would have just written, "Green? Well, your'e yellow, mister, because you still haven't named any movies that are better yet!"

Most of those moves Hayden named are only on par with Donnie Darko. I insist, however, that Office Space and The Big Lebowski are both certainly better though.

DD is Duran Duran; please don't make me tell you again.

I <3 Huckabees is certainly not as good as Donnie Darko.

Elephant and Coffee & Cigarettes are certainly arguably not as good either.

Of course you're wrong. The mere title of thread is the equivalent to proclaiming that you are a helplessly lost doofus.

I watched this AGAIN..tonight with my dad
atari are you attending the upcoming Wolf eyes, unicorns, or xiu xiu concerts soon?

atari 2600 09.23.2006 11:26 PM

When and where? I'm not going into D.C., that's for damn sure.

RIPfrey05 09.23.2006 11:27 PM

In c.ville

DOII!!!!

atari 2600 09.23.2006 11:33 PM

Oh, sweet...Wolf Eyes are coming to the Satellite Ballroom downtown on the tenth of next month. Xiu Xiu is on the ninth. Charlottesville is getting pretty damn rockin'. Thanks for the heads-up.
Yeah, I'll be going. That is, if it doesn't sell out. I doubt I'll go down there to pre-purchase tickets. If they are still selling them the day of the shows in question, I'll be there. We can meet in the flesh. I must approve all photos though haha.

Hey, Tuesday week on Oct. 3rd, Elf Power are in Richmond at the Hyperlink Cafe. They're skipping over C-Ville. I feel slighted. If you want to give me a ride, you can meet my friend Andrew. When they last came here in April '04, we hung out all night.

atsonicpark 09.23.2006 11:44 PM

Overrated then, overrated now.

atari 2600 09.23.2006 11:46 PM

Wolf Eyes are overrated? Yeah they are, but I've never seen them live, which is how their music is intended to be best enjoyed.

Personally, out of the three shows (WE, XX, and Elf Power) I'm leaning the most toward Elf Power even though it's out-of-town.
I figure that I can crash on whatever floor they are anyway.
It sucks that it's not on a weekend. I really need to be back home to start answering any phone calls by 9 a.m. the next day.

better music in the party scene? are you out of your mind?
what could be better than Love Will Tear us Apart?

Daycare Nation 09.24.2006 01:17 PM

Love Will Tear us Apart is in both versions.

The opening credits in the original have The Killing Moon by Echo and the Bunnymen. If I'm not mistaken, the original also has Under the Milkyway Tonight in the party scene, which was replaced by something else in the director's cut.
