Even so, Chihuahuas are fucking brilliant. And I don't know if we have enough pictures of them on the board. So, in an effort to up the toy dog image count:

Getting trapped in the gap between patio doors.

Cantankerous 06.30.2008 06:44 PM

i like chihuahuas. they're nice and warm and they tremble when you hold them.

That happened to my cat once.
It took him a few minutes to realize it had happened, and when he did he freaked the fuck out.

sarramkrop 06.30.2008 06:47 PM

Waking up in the middle of an operation.

edit : If I was the patient.

Aah, maybe not so irrational then.

I hate chihuahuas... probably mostly because they hate me too.

sobriquet 06.30.2008 06:50 PM

The only thing I hate is a manipulative liar. Two or more are fine though.

EEEEEEEEE!

i am so adding one of those to my petting zoo

MellySingsDoom 06.30.2008 06:57 PM

I have a fear of cockroaches. Not in a "there's one in my kitchen" sense, but more like "those fuckers will raise an army and crawl all over my face" sense. Completely nonsensical, I know...even though it's an overall crappy film, the last part of the "Creepshow" film can still put me right on edge.

terriblecanyons 06.30.2008 06:58 PM

I also have a fear of strange mutant creatures lurking behind every corner, about to bite my face off or poison me with some disgusting yellow gas emitting from their faces.

I guess that's what years of chronic tomb raider playing will do to you.

Aw, this is making me all sad now. She used to sleep in my bed with me and curl up beside my neck. Waking up with a chihuahua snuggled up beside you is pure heaven, I assure you.

And its so true about them trembling when you hold them.

Danny Himself 06.30.2008 07:12 PM

AHHH! MOTHS! BIG FAT FLUTTERING MOTHS THAT ARE CLEARLY GOING TO FLY RIGHT INTO YOUR MOUTH AND KILL YOU? SOMEHOW I DON'T KNOW

really

demonrail666 06.30.2008 07:14 PM

Big Moths are truly horrible. But they're slow fluckers and easy to kill. Big moths bring out and ultimately satisfy my violent side.

terriblecanyons 06.30.2008 07:15 PM

I hate moths. They're so annoying.
What I hate more is flying ants that decide that your eye is a perfect target.

demonrail666 06.30.2008 07:18 PM

I've been known to destroy a room in an effort to kill a blue bottle. climbing ontop of a wardrobe with a rolled up Argos catalogue and falling off with the wardrobe falling on top of me, while the bluebottle just flies away to another part of the room. Bluebottles turn me into a spasticated Rambo.

Pax Americana 06.30.2008 07:19 PM

Spiders... big time. I mean, just fucking look at this thing. I get chills just looking at this picture.

terriblecanyons 06.30.2008 07:20 PM

ewewewewewewewewewwwwwwww

demonrail666 06.30.2008 07:21 PM

Yeah, I sort of wish you hadn't posted that picture. Please nobody quote Pax Americana's post. I never want to have to see that picture again.

Heh. Sorry! I seriously can't imagine how afraid I'd be around a spider that big.

terriblecanyons 06.30.2008 07:22 PM

Oh thank god a new page thank god thank god

demonrail666 06.30.2008 07:31 PM

Seriously, I have this thing where if i even see just a picture of a spider I start to scratch. It's a proper phobia i think. Not just an 'oh, aren't they disgusting' kind of thing. A proper reaction to them.

terriblecanyons 06.30.2008 07:31 PM

Yeah, I get that prickly feeling on random body parts and scratch them like hell. Gah

terriblecanyons 06.30.2008 07:32 PM

Oh fuck.

demonrail666 06.30.2008 07:37 PM

My very first ever (and hopefully only) neg rep has been duly dispatched.

demonrail666 06.30.2008 07:39 PM

Be afraid, Pookie. Be very afraid!

Bluebottles get even more annoying when they're trapped in the window somehow. Bloody hell! They just keep butting it. Fuck off! I twatted one so hard with a rolled up 'weekender' magazine once SO HARD that it disappeared

i'm definitely getting one. no question. and some hamsters as well.

demonrail666 06.30.2008 07:45 PM

Fuck yeah, with the whole window thing. you do that thing where you open the window in the hope it'll fly out, but it never does. It just hovers, taunting you. And then, when you do eventually kill the fucker they leave this disgusting blood stain on the wall. Never mind the fact that the room is also usually demolished in the process of exterminating it.

Sonic Youth 37 06.30.2008 07:45 PM

Needles. I break out into hysterical laughter whenever I have to get a shot or blood work done.

Other than that, I can't think of anything. I'm not afraid of spiders or bugs, I just don't like them around too much

Edit: Another one is a fear of knocking a tooth or teeth out.

Yeah, I'm getting one too. Seriously, they're little life changers.

I mean, how cute is this?

and from this day forward, this shall be known as the chihuahua thread!

terriblecanyons 06.30.2008 07:51 PM

Noooooooooooooo!

demonrail666 06.30.2008 07:53 PM

I prefer the shorter haired ones, with the big bats ears. Honestly, the one I had could fit easily into a pint glass. (A total babe magnet too, whenever i took her out. Seriously) Happy days!

samuel 06.30.2008 07:53 PM

dachshunds are better!
especially mine

LittlePuppetBoy 06.30.2008 07:54 PM

I laugh at you arachnophobes!

Wasps and bumblebees scare me (due to a very bad childhood experience).

Also, swimming in deep bodies of water in which I can see what's on the bottom.

demonrail666 06.30.2008 07:54 PM

I want this one!
