do you take vitamins at all? if you don't, even taking a regular multivitamin may help improve your condition.

Wow ! I'm sorry that migraines have gotten this bad for you . I've had periods in my life on and off of getting assaulted by them . The patterns indicate having to do with hormones , though when I was a child there were definate food triggers (red dye , chocolate ..) . Do you take any kind of birth control ?

I just had a killer one yesterday . No meds have worked, but sometimes when I take a Gravol or two , its effect actually knocks me out and I sleep it off . MOST times, when I wake , its gone .

One thing though , is that there is no greater feeling than of waking up with it gone . I dont just feel normal again , but the total opposite of when in pain . I feel absolutely euphoric and feel like dancing .

damn, my gut response is you're being poisoned by something, or enduring some kind of chemical exposure. How is your skin and sleep? Crazy thoughts or violent urges? not trying to be funny asking you these.

If you're doctor is not taking you seriously, find someone who will.

Are you the boardie with the sadistic boss?

I'm taking B12 supplements. Have been for about a week. No rashes, no
problem sleeping. And I think girlgun is the one with the asshole boss. I actually have a real laissez-faire employer, considering she's also my sister.

go to a chiropractor, and one who uses activator methods.

this thread is becoming funny in that everyone gives a different sort of recommendation, so that it becomes a catalog of home remedies--and that includes yours truly-- but it's all with good intentions. and so anyway some things might work, you never know.

best wishes jenn-- keep up hope & do not give up.

on that note...

i used to look at that when i was utterly utterly broke, and it always made me laugh.

If the bloodwork doesn't show anything go for the scan, and don't get discouraged! and don't be intimidated about asking questions of your doctor.

Update, why not.

I have an MRI scheduled for Monday. My doctor thinks my symptoms are
in fact a culmination of my untreated mental "issues". So I'm on Symbyax
for bipolar.

Also, he wants me to look into more intensive therapy for my panic
attacks. It was amazing to hear a doctor say I have panic attacks. For
years my oldest sister was telling me that's what the shortness of
breath, dizziness, shaking and feeling of impending demise was. She knew because, well, she suffers from it too (albeit less now with medication). I just couldn't wrap my head around it, I always thought panic attacks were preceded by a clear trigger. Turns out that in people with panic disorder, they can strike without warning.
