Ever.

Rather repped.

I thought that said rather ripped.

alyasa 10.07.2007 11:26 PM

That might have worked too... But I wanted to convey not only the sense of "ripping"-ness that pbradley's Mascis post evokes, but also that I gave him (pbradley) reputation points. Thus, rather 'repped'.

This would be the look of pain that comes from playing solos with 13 gauge strings. You'd make that face too.

alyasa 10.08.2007 01:03 AM

That's thick, that'll probably tear my fingers up into confetti...

Steve Vai is the worst I think. Totally fucking appalling. One of those faces that make me frown.

Yes, he is playing a guitar.

I keep my head down most of the time...check out the pic in my sig.

But really, if you really care how you look onstage (beyond obvious grooming/hygiene issues), then you shouldn't be onstage.

pbradley 10.09.2007 12:37 AM

Are you the young Lou Barlow looking chap on the left?

GeneticKiss 10.09.2007 12:40 AM

Yeah...

EDIT-Wow, 400 posts...I'm a "stalker" now...

soapbars 10.09.2007 08:20 AM

I used to use 14-16 but now I go the complete opposite, 9 or 10.

Here's one from the same night:

My guitar is a Heartfield RR58, a shortlived Fender/Ibanez hybrid from the early 90s...find more info here.

pbradley 10.09.2007 10:42 PM

when my band opened for Do Make Say Think... alot of pics of me "shoegazing" which appears to be awefully unappealing for an audience memeber to see.

Yeah, I've always preferred smaller gauge strings... They're especially good to shred with... But then again thicker strings are definitely better for rhythm and single note attacks, more traction...
