I think we scare most of those sorts away since we don't have a thread of that in our sound. My wife has a way more rock project with actual melodies and she has the same problem you do with lame groups asking to be her friend. A shame, because he music is way above that cliched stuff.

In regards to myspace, I only lke the music aspect of it now since most artists have a myspace. They really should make it so myspace is solely a thing for checking out bands like it used to be, and have facebook as a personal networking webpage.
